1. Application
These Terms of Trade apply to all services provided by Drivon Limited ("the Carrier") to the customer ("the Customer"). By booking a job with us, you accept these terms.
2. Carriage of Goods
All goods (vehicles) are carried at Limited Carrier's Risk pursuant to the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Limited Carrier's Risk: The carrier is liable for loss or damage to the goods up to a maximum amount of $2,000 per unit of goods (per vehicle), unless the carrier intentionally caused the loss or damage.
- We strongly recommend that you ensure your vehicle has its own comprehensive insurance cover during transit.
3. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer warrants that:
- They are the owner or authorized agent of the owner of the vehicle.
- The vehicle does not contain any illegal items or hazardous substances.
- Any personal items left in the vehicle are at the owner's risk. We accept no liability for personal property left inside vehicles.
- The vehicle is in a condition safe to be transported (unless booked as a recovery/salvage job).
4. Pricing and Payment
All quotes are valid for 7 days unless stated otherwise. Payment is due upon completion of the service (delivery) unless the Customer holds a valid credit account with Drivon. We accept Eftpos, Visa, Mastercard, and Bank Transfer. Unpaid accounts may incur collection costs.
5. Cancellations
Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the scheduled pick-up time may incur a cancellation fee of up to 50% of the quoted price. Cancellations made after a truck has been dispatched will incur a full call-out fee.
6. Dangerous Goods
We do not transport dangerous goods unless specifically arranged and documented. If undeclared dangerous goods are found, we reserve the right to refuse transport or unload them immediately at the Customer's expense.
