Are you available 24/7? +

Yes, absolutely. Our dispatch centre and recovery services are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year, including all public holidays. We are always ready to respond to an emergency breakdown or accident.

Is my vehicle insured during transport? +

Yes, all vehicles we transport are covered under our Limited Carrier's Risk insurance, pursuant to the Contract and Commercial Law Act 2017. This covers your vehicle up to a value of $2,000. For high-value, classic, or prestige cars, we can arrange additional, comprehensive insurance coverage upon request to ensure your asset is fully protected.

What do I do if I've had an accident? +

Your safety is the first priority. Ensure everyone is safe and contact emergency services (111) if there are injuries. If the scene is safe, call us at 0800 374 866. You have the right to choose your tow provider, so you can tell police or your insurer you want Drivon. We are approved by all major insurance companies and can manage the recovery process for you, including liaising with your insurer to simplify the claim.

Can you transport non-running or damaged vehicles? +

Absolutely. A large portion of our work involves transporting non-running or accident-damaged vehicles. Our fleet includes slide deck trucks and recovery units equipped with powerful winches specifically designed to safely load and transport vehicles that cannot be driven.

Do you transport prestige or classic cars? +

Yes, we specialize in prestige, classic, and sports car transport. Our modern slide deck trucks have an ultra-low approach angle, which is essential for safely loading lowered and high-value vehicles without any risk of damage to bumpers or the undercarriage. We treat every prestige vehicle with the white-glove care it deserves.

Billing & Payment

What payment methods do you accept? +

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard), EFTPOS, and online bank transfers. For bookings made through our online quote system, you can pay securely at the time of booking. For roadside assistance, our drivers have mobile EFTPOS terminals.

Can you bill my insurance company directly? +

Yes, in most cases involving accident recovery or breakdown assistance covered by your policy, we can. We have established relationships with all major New Zealand insurance providers. If you provide us with a valid claim number, we can often handle the billing directly with them, saving you the hassle.
