Failed WoF (Standard)
If you fail a WoF but the inspector deems the car safe to drive (for now), you can drive it for 28 days only for the purpose of getting it repaired or re-inspected. You cannot use it for general commuting.
Green Sticker (Defective Vehicle)
Police put this on cars with faults like bald tires or broken lights. You have a set time to fix it, but usually, you are allowed to drive it directly to a repairer.
Pink Sticker (Unsafe to Drive)
STOP. If an inspector or Police officer issues a Pink Sticker, the vehicle is deemed "Unsafe". It cannot be driven on the road under any circumstances until the sticker is cleared. You must arrange a tow truck to get it home or to a workshop. Driving a pink-stickered car invites massive fines and instant de-registration.
